Steel Stairs and Supports in Parma, ID

Every little detail matters.

Their caption on a rooftop stair job. Stairs get used every day and blamed the day they fail, so the details are the job: the rise, the landing, the rails and the welds that hold it all.

Stairs and supports in Parma: how it’s done.

Two stair jobs are on the feed. One is new: galvanized stairs with grating treads and square tube handrails, fabricated on the lot and welded in place on a roof. The other is an upgrade, captioned "Upgrading new steps and supports to stainless steel": an old structure rusted along its underside, given new steps and new supports.

Stainless steel does not rust the way plain steel does, which is the point of it where things stay wet. Galvanized is the outdoor choice when stainless is more than the job needs.

Say how many steps, how high, and what is there now. A photo of the old stair, or the spot for a new one, says most of it.
